SMARC is one of the standards defined by SGET (Standardization Group for Embedded Technologies). In this are fixed the form factor and pinout of the modules.
There are defined two module sizes: the bigger (82mm x 80mm) is proposed for X86 devices and the smaller (82mm x 50mm) is oriented to applications using ARM processors. ISEE has adapted the small size to develop their new platforms.
The standard also defines a fixed pinout, being the same in all modules and sizes. These are a 314 edge fingers that mate with a low profile 314 pin 0.5mm pitch right angle connector.
With same size and pinout, it is possible any kind to scalability in your projects, being possible to move to other module with more processing capabilities or using other in which specifications have better match with the final application.
This module offers an ideal solution for embedded Systems that requires high-end multimedia Applications. Based on a combination of ARM Cortex-A53 (Dual/Quad-cores) and co-processor Cortex-M4, offers the best solution for critical Applications.
This module processor covers an extremely wide performance range. Based on the ARM Cortex-A9 technology, with different cores, offer an efficient development of smart devices in an extremely compact design with balanced processor and graphics performance.
These modules provide the lowest cost and power consumption with the most usual features: WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE, Ethernet, digital audio, USB, etc. Thanks their features and price, this is the best choice for Smart Homes or any kind of IoT projects.
This module is well suited with graphic accelerator, multiprotocol support for industrial communications and standard security features while maintaining competitive cost. Ideal for automation, driving equipment and IoT.
